Site Details

The East Chicago - Marina monitoring site began operating in October 2012 (Lead, PM10. PM2.5 and VOCs). Continuous PM2.5, SO2, hourly Benzene and meteorological parameters were added in November 2019. The monitoring objective is to monitor the ambient air in East Chicago near the Cleveland Cliffs Indiana Harbor Steelmill and SunCoke Energy coke ovens.
